KARTHIK
VINOD
Karthik is a freshly minted postgraduate, with a background in science and social science. He helped co-found Ed Publica and runs the platform as science editor.
He studied in England, receiving two masters degrees – one in physics with astrophysics at the University of Manchester – and another in science, technology and society at University College London (UCL). He has had a penchant for writing since his schooling days in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
But writing and with that storytelling, has now become a passion. With Ed Publica, he likes to lay bare not just the science within stories, but also the inextricable societal themes that influence and shape science.
Besides Ed Publica, Karthik does freelance gigs as a science journalist / writer. He has words in The Hindu, a national newspaper in India, Live Healthy, an online magazine in the UAE, and a commentary piece that was published in The Wire Science.
